Reshi terms of service
Effective October 26, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Reshi. “Reshi”, “we” and “us” mean Justen Thongkhanh, the owner and operator of Reshi. “You” means the person using Reshi and any organization that person represents.
By installing, accessing or using Reshi, you agree to these terms. If you use Reshi for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use Reshi.
1. Your license
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use an authorized copy of Reshi, for your own personal use or for your organization’s internal work.
Reshi is licensed, not sold. We keep all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the software, design, name, logos, documentation and services.
2. Free and paid use
Personal, educational and nonprofit use is free. A commercial organization may evaluate Reshi free for 30 days before buying any license it needs.
“Commercial use” means using Reshi for a business, trade, paid professional work or other activity meant to earn revenue, including by a sole proprietor. Personal use unrelated to commercial activity stays free.
A commercial organization may use Reshi free while it earned less than $500,000 in total gross revenue over the previous 12 months. Once it reaches a paid tier, it has 90 days to buy the annual Commercial License that applies. The tiers and fees are in the Commercial License. Your AI subscriptions, storage, internet service and other third-party costs are separate from Reshi.
3. What you may not do
Unless the law gives you a right that cannot be waived, you may not:
- copy, modify, publish, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense or transfer Reshi;
- resell Reshi or access to it;
- build Reshi into another product or service, or offer a white-label version;
- run Reshi as a hosted service for other people or organizations;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to obtain Reshi’s source code;
- remove ownership, copyright, trademark or license notices;
- get around security, access controls, usage limits or license checks;
- interfere with the service or anyone else’s use of it; or
- use Reshi unlawfully or to violate anyone’s rights.
You may make the copies needed to install, update and back up an authorized copy of Reshi.
4. Your accounts and connected services
Reshi connects to services from other companies, such as AI and storage providers. You are responsible for your accounts with them and for following their terms. They can change, restrict or end their services at any time. Reshi does not control their models, outputs, prices, availability or data practices.
You decide which accounts, storage, Rooms, AIs and jobs to connect. Keep your devices and sign-ins secure, and tell us promptly if you believe a Reshi connection was used without your permission.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the files, messages, instructions and other content you put in a Room. These terms do not transfer it to Reshi.
You let Reshi handle approved content only as needed to do what you ask: for example, reading a Room through your computer and passing an approved result to an AI you connected. You must have the right to use and share the content you put in a Room.
6. Privacy
Reshi’s hosted connector does not store the contents of your Room files, handoffs or reviews. It passes approved requests and answers through while delivering them, without keeping their content. Reshi keeps limited operational records, and the panel sends anonymous usage events that you can turn off. The privacy policy explains what is collected, why, and for how long. The AI and storage providers you connect handle information under their own policies.
7. AI results and your judgment
AI-generated work can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased or inappropriate. Jobs such as manager, writer and auditor organize the work; they do not guarantee a correct result. You are responsible for reviewing results and deciding whether and how to use them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, employment or other high-impact decisions.
8. Updates and changes
We may provide fixes, security updates and new versions. Some updates may be needed for Reshi or a connected service to keep working. We may add, change or remove features when necessary, including when another company changes its product.
9. Previews and availability
Features marked alpha, beta, preview, experimental or evaluation are still being tested. They may fail, change or be withdrawn.
We work to keep Reshi reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every connected provider will stay available. Reshi may refuse an action when it cannot verify permission, connectivity, safety or the current state of a Room.
10. Suspension and ending
You may stop using Reshi and remove it at any time.
We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect Reshi or its users, to comply with the law, after notice of non-payment, or for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. When practical, we will explain why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
When these terms end, your permission to use Reshi ends. Your files stay under the controls and retention rules of your storage provider. The sections on ownership, restrictions, responsibility, disclaimers and limits of liability continue to apply.
11. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, Reshi is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that Reshi will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, fit for every purpose, or compatible with every AI or storage service. Rights the law does not let us exclude remain.
12. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Reshi and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim related to Reshi is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid Reshi in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Reshi changes. We will post the new terms with their effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes, which apply going forward. Using Reshi after new terms take effect means you accept them.
14. General
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term once does not waive it. You may not transfer these terms without our written permission; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of Reshi.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington, except where the law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
These terms, the privacy policy and any Commercial License that applies are the whole agreement about your use of Reshi. If a Commercial License and these terms conflict on fees or paid commercial rights, the Commercial License controls.
